Oktoberfest party

There is a chill in the air.  Fall has officially arrived and brought with it all of your favourite local autumn traditions.  There are a few new ones too. Get out this weekend and enjoy all that Pontiac has to offer.

Oktoberfest is back for the first time since 2019 featuring the marvelous music, food, and traditions of years’ past.  Visit their website for information and schedules.

Campbell’s Bay has a new municipal park and will hold the official opening on Friday, September 30 at 1:00 p.m.

Brauwerk Hoffman winds down their season with a Schnitzel night this Friday, September 30.

Spruce Holm is hosting a craft vendor market on October 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  You can see a list of vendors on their Facebook Page

Head out to the town hall in Luskville for their Harvest Market featuring a turkey dinner this Saturday.  Get the details here.

The season is ripe for a visit to one of our local farmers’ markets.  The Pontiac Farmers’ market at R and R Farms and the Bristol Market at the Norway Bay Beach are open and offering local produce and products.

Rory Taillon is at the Winery on Saturday night.  Book your ticket for dinner and the show.  There are still a few left.

There will be a walk for the Kidney foundation this Sunday at the Shawville Fairgrounds.  Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. and the 5 km walk begins at 1:00 p.m.  Listen to an interview with organizer Randy Russell on CHIP FM
